Warranty

Injector Pumps and Injectors:

All modified pumps and injectors come with a 6 month warranty.

Turbochargers:

KRAE turbochargers are covered by a 20,000 km, 2000 Hrs or 12-month (whichever occurs first) warranty against faulty parts and workmanship. Failure to carry out any of the above fitting instructions correctly, or any damage from external factors will render this warranty null and void. This warranty does not cover damage or failure of components due to normal wear and tear.

Warranty card must be completed and returned within 7 days after purchase. Failure to do so will render this warranty null and void.

  • Any claims under this warranty must be reported to KRAE NZ before taking any action. Any expenditure incurred without approval will not be recognised.
  • Do not continue to drive a vehicle with a damaged or noisy turbocharger as this may result in engine failure.
  • There is NO warranty on turbochargers fitted to PERFORMANCE or MOTORSPORT vehicles or on any parts used in race applications or in products that have been physically altered, improperly installed or not maintained.

Warranty is on a case by case basis. KRAE will not recognise any warranty claim where any failure or defect is caused by:

  • Insufficient or incorrect oil and/or lubricants;
  • Overheating and/or heat tab missing;
  • Misuse, overloading, accidents or negligence;
  • Failure to carry out proper maintenance;
  • Unauthorised repairs, alterations or dismantling; and
  • Improper application or installation.

Warranty On Other Brands We Stock:

  • New components will be covered by the warranty provided by our suppliers and will be covered by their individual terms and conditions.
  • KRAE will represent the buyer on behalf of their claim to the relevant manufacturer.
  • Returns will be passed onto the manufacturer for their determination if a warranty or refund claim will be accepted.
  • Defective part must be returned in order for the new part to be distributed.

Warranty Details:

  • Warranty is non transferable.
  • All claims made to KRAE must be accompanied with the original tax invoice.
  • All risk for the goods passes to the buyer on delivery.
  • Warranty on product is replacement of part only for defects in materials and workmanship.
  • No cash or compensation for labour will be given for defects in material and workmanship.
  • KRAE is not responsible for costs of return shipping or delivery on part returns. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

Refunds and Returns

Returns:

If you buy from any of our listings, you are agreeing to our Warranty & Returns Policy.

  • KRAE will not accept returns or provide refunds where the buyer has decided they no longer “want” the supplied parts.
  • No Return or Credit will be Granted if parts are used, dismantled or tampered with. Parts returned  must be complete and as sold in clean, original packaging.
  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to check the part supplied by KRAE is correct at the time of delivery. If this is not possible, the buyer must check the part is correct prior to any installation, preparation and/or painting. Buyers, who fail to check each part for correctness, can claim no compensation.
  • A 10% restocking fee will apply to all returns. Exchanges of equal or greater value may not be subject to a restocking fee.
  • Parts will only be refunded if they are returned un-fitted and in their original packaging, otherwise the refund will not be approved.
  • Please note that if an Afterpay order is cancelled a 5% admin charge will be applied to the refund.
  • KRAE is not responsible for costs of return shipping or delivery on part returns. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
